Major problem with VPN connection after last update. |

Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a major issue with my VPN connection after the last Linux Lite update. Before the update, my VPN connection was stable and worked perfectly fine. Now, after the update, the VPN disconnects randomly every few minutes.
I've tried different VPN servers and protocols, but the issue persists. I've also checked my firewall settings and network configuration, but everything seems to be in order.
I'm using OpenVPN with the Network Manager plugin. I've also tried using the command line to connect to the VPN, but the issue remains the same.
Here's what I've tried so far:
* Restarting my computer and network devices.
* Reinstalling the OpenVPN client and Network Manager plugin.
* Checking my firewall settings.
* Trying different VPN servers and protocols.
* Using the command line to connect to the VPN.
I'm not sure what else to try. Has anyone else experienced this issue after the last update? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!.

Hi!
I have Linux Lite 6.2, Ubuntu 24.04, Chromium Browser and VPN from v4freedom.com.
Chromium Browser traffic in Ubuntu 24.04 goes through VPN v4freedom.com there is no Linux Lite 6.4.
How in Linux Lite 6.2 to route Chromium Browser traffic via VPN v4freedom.com?

Installing RDP app within Linux Lite LIVE |

My son want to try Linux so I suggested he try Linux Lite Live off a memory stick. One thing he needs to try is accessing his work computer. Under Windows he uses RDP.
Looks like RDP is not pre-installed in Linux Lite.
Q1: Is it possible to install to a Linux Lite Live? (albeit just for that session)
Q2: What RDP app is recommended? (similar to Win RDP, reliable, easy to configure)
Many thanks

Samba Sharing Files and Folders vs Thunar? |

Looking for guidance.
I have 2 linux lite 7.4 systems and I want to set up a shared folder -- anonymous no logins no passwords no security. Smb.conf is barebones and things work as far as this goes. Thunar grants access on the local system. And somehow I expect that from remote systems as well.
On the remote system, I access the share with Thunar and a popup says Authentication Required and I select Anonymous and the popup goes away and then nothing -- The popup goes away without leaving a clue -- no access, no error message and most importantly no access.
Can anyone help me on this path?
Thanks
