Hello Linux Lite Devs
I'm pointing out an issue that would be nice if it where fixed int the current LL 2.2 as well as in the next one.
Since in the current and next one light-locker seems to be installed. I found and am experiencing this bug : Invisible cursor after resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sourc...ug/1297144
My assumption is that this should be also reported to the XFCE devs maybe?
This needs to be addressed for sure. Hope someone has time for it.

Hi all
Computer slowing down I looked I'm not running out of disk pace if there is swap files. I would know what to do if I was using a Windows box. I read there is no defrag in Linux or Lite. I also look at youtube but most videos are on about video loading or running slow.
I have very limited knowledge on Linux seems a big mountain to chip away at and yes as said before the terminal screars me Text then clicky interface.
yes a post about sysstat I loaded software and let it run as I used computer I don't know what these stars mean.
Would it be easy just to reload Lite?

I have been playing around with Pretty Greeter login window based on lightdm-webkit-greeter:

I'm wondering if I have missed something setting it up. Here is what I did:
1) Create a new folder named "pretty" (or any other name) in:
/usr/share/lightdm-webkit/themes/2) Unzip "pretty greeter" files to the above folder.
3) Open file:
index.themeand change the session from gnome to xfce4:

When testing display managers it might be better to create a keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Backspace that will allow to quit the GUI instead of rebooting (I think it was explained by Misko_2083 on another thread some time ago, I just can't find the link):

Hello again.
I've decided to install LL on my desktop dual booting with Windows 7. All done and all good - the only problem I'm encountering is with my printer, a mono laser Samsung SCX-3405FW. When I configure, it recognises the printer i.e. 3400 series but only recommends a generic driver, which I choose from the database (there is an option available for Samsung but my model number does not appear). The next recommended option is the generic "text-only", which I choose and all appears OK until I try to print a test page. I get the error "CUPS server error - There was an error during the CUPS operation: 'client-error-document-format-not-supported'."
Not being sure where to go next, I decided to download from the Samsung website the only driver available for Linux (ULD_V1.00.27.04.tar.gz). I managed to extract to a folder called ULD. Now I've come to a grinding halt.
Any help from cyberspace would be appreciated.

I did an install for a booster to pick internet from the house to an outbuilding by just hooking up the booster & it installed a program automatically which it has never done before now I always get 2 bar reception indication on my 2.2 lite system most of the time it tries to hook up with out the program with 2 bars indicated & when the window comes up asking if I want to use the program I say no & it hooks up 3-5 bars indicated reception there seems to be a clash between the 2 ways of hooking up here. On the other laptop I get 4-5 bar indication all the time without the program. Where do I have to look in the Lite 2.2 system to find this program & remove it?
Hi, I had to reinstall Linux Lite 2.0 on my old PC. But after upgrading are not able to install the package of Italian language, having to stop the process (download failed).
Now turn on the PC, and instead of the loading screen of Linux Lite, the PC shows the loading screen of Ubuntu 14:04, then kernel panic and I have to force a shutdown.
Sorry for the imperfect English.
I would understand if I try to reinstall solve?
