Hi,
I need some help. I have a notebook, ASUS E200HA and I have just installed Linux Lite 4.2. Everything seems to be working really fine but the sound does not work. In the audio mixer everything seems to be ok, but I just don't get any audio. I've been searching for answers in internet but it seems that there is a different solution depending on the distro that you have. Something to do with the kernel not supporting this hardware. I haven't seen any entry in this forum about this model of ASUS. Does anybody have any solution to this problem?
Thank you so much!

I've installed linux lite on a usb stick but my laptop can't seem to boot it. I installed it using unetbootin and when that didn't work followed the instructions in the help manual to install it using the command line and it still won't work. In the fist instance I can select the usb drive from the boot menu but nothing happens and in the second instance the usb isn't even an option. Any help greatly appreciated

Hello!
I ask you for help.
I want to make a terminal server from linux lite 4.2 with ltsp to download thin clients over the network. I installed ltsp on LL4.2 from this manual https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sourc...ug/1797839 , because of the standard repositories ubuntu 18.04 does not work. But when the thin client is loaded, after login I get a picture on the screen as I added to the message in the archive.
How can I fix this?

Since I couldn't make vidcutter work since I think the software is for a 64 bit machine, I tried LossLessCut. Now this software worked but its slow as molasses. Anyone have a suggestion to speed it up besides getting a 64 bit machine. Your help is appreciated....Thanks in advance.

Hi all.
I'm Sandro, a stock photographer based in Rome, Italy. I'm not exactly new to Linux. I've dropped Windows/Mac OS ages ago for many reasons. That day I've decided to put Ubuntu 4.10 (Warty Warthog) on my hd. Does someone remember it back in 2004?
That's it. I've worked on Ubuntu since November 2004 going through so many different releases. A couple of weeks ago I've made a decision. I wanted something lighter on my pc but still based on Ubuntu (the best OS is usually the one you know better). Many apps I use (Rawtherapee, Darktable, GIMP etc.) are not exactly light on memory. For this reason, I've tried Linux Mint Xfce first and Linux Lite later. Now, after two weeks of testing, Linux Lite is the only OS on my laptop.
All the best and see you around on the Forums,
Sandro
