Hello , i`m using Linux Lite v2.2 and i have only one problem
My laptop can`t read or see my Micro SD card - 4gb
I have a Toshiba Tecra M5 - Core2Duo 1.66Ghz , 4gb Ram , Intel GMA 945
If anyone have same issue .... !?
I like reviews like this because they help me look for ways of things that we can do better.

This is some artwork my son does while not at school. He gets images then puts layers on for a new look. The first one is an original given free on a forum he uses and the second is after using the effects. All black magic to me!

Yet another nail in the coffin for Linux!
All icons have disappeared from the desktop.
Found nothing using the search for missing icons from desktop.
When I install Dropbox on my 64bit laptop, the icon appears in the notification area as it should. For a short time it has a 'connecting' tooltip appear, then it is completely unresponsive thereafter. No tooltip. Nothing upon left or right click. Nothing upon launching from the menu. Just nuttin'.
Any ideas?
Lorne.

any suggestions??
I have found a dark theme like in the older versions of Linux Lite is easier on my eyes than the new light themes. I use BlueFear from Manjaro Cup of Linux.
How can I darken the boot splash screen at start up and shutdown or if it can't be darkened eliminate it? I am guessing that eliminating it would give me a black screen with either white or green letters telling what the computer is doing.
To be sure I have the right name, here is a picture of what I think is the boot splash screen:

I have changed the Xfce start up screen. https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index...60#msg4760
I have been trying to login to the "Install Updates that is used; and I am not able to type my password in . The keys do not register ,but on any other screen or software I am able to type normally.
Thanking you.
