I just upgraded kernel from 3.13 to 3.17 and i have only one problem , i don`t have Sound Smile
I have a Toshiba Tecra M5: Core2Duo 1.66Ghz , 4gb Ram , Intel GMA 945.

Do you have a mixer loaded? For example pulse audio?
