I thought it could replace the New Replies link but the "new replies" might get lost if someone makes a lot of post. Should I get notified of "new replies " to posts I have replied to but am not the OP ?

Is there a way to map to folders, so they connect every time I power on the system?
Thanks

Hello
I find that touching my Touchpad accidentally using Menus and input boxes can cause me all sorts of errors and wrong options being set - leading to frustration when I was trying to install LL and at other times . I experience problems of the cursor moving after I manage to get it on the correct place if I do not lift my finger straight up .
I doubt if the sensitivity can be adjusted during the setup of LL lite but I hope it can be achieved once LL is being used .
I know how to turn off tapping using the "Mouse and Touchpad" settings app which is prevents accidentally clicking on the wrong option.
But there does not appear to be any method to reduce the sensitivity of the pad to enable me to set it to my preferences.
This option is available in some laptops using the Windows settings interface .
I suspect it may be dependent on the manufacturers of the pad having drivers that allow the Sensitivity to be adjusted .
Has anyone managed to solve this when using LL

Very basic info for beginners can be found on FirstTimeLinux.com. Linux Lite OS screenshots are featured on this site.
Hello Lite community. I am (soon to be 'was') a Windows user and is new to Linux.
I just found out about Lite on DistroWatch a couple hours ago. I've checked the Help Manual but couldn't find an answer to the first question I have. It's this:
Will Lite run on my old computer?
Pentium 4, 3.06 GHz
System model: D915GAV_
32 bit
came with 2GB RAM, I upgraded that to 4GB with only 3.something available for use.
It has XP Professional
I don't want to dual boot. I just want to run Lite only. if this is not the place to post, please let me know.
After having a problem I was helped by being pointed in the direction of the Seahorse -Passwords and Keys program .
I feel that it should be installed in Lite Menu at start up instead of been hidden and needing to be installed first . There does not appear to be any other program in LL that is a Password manager using a GUI.

An empty mystery file named .gvfs has recently showed up in my home folder. :o
I must open it in root and it is empty. I have searched for an explanation on the internet but I am not sure what I read it means. Apparently it has something to do with the Gnome desktop. Of course, I am only using XFCE. Has it something to do with Systemback or TOR browser which I only started to use recently? The way I found it was Deja Dup say it can not back it up and still tries to copy it even after I marked it should be ignored.
What is this file? How did I get it? Is it save to delete it? :-\
