Noticed a spelling error about the fourth of fifth splash in the installer. "In this release we're exited to bring you a new look... "exited" should be "excited".

Ok, so wording this is a bit hard, but here is the deal.
In every other Linux Distro I've been on there is no native (gaming) controller support. And I like it that way, because then I can install JoyToKey and configure it myself.
But this time I've decided to program my own software and from there configure my controller (C programming).  8)
However on LinuxLite3(64-bit) when I plug in the controller, it just works. Can move my mouse around with it... That's great!
... How do I turn that off? xD

I found this little programme very useful in 2.8 but can't find it in Citrine.
I have downloaded Lite-Updater-Master  from https://github.com/linuxlite/lite-updater
but am not sure where to put the files

I use several items in the xfce4-goodies.  This is the first time I couldn't get the goodies to install properly.  I'm running Linux Lite 3.0 64 bit.  I did some google searches.  I didn't find any quick fixes for this.

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin_1.5.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/xfce4/panel/plugins/whiskermenu.desktop', which is also in package whiskermenu 1.5.2.1-linuxlite

How do I fix this?

Hi,

I'd like to suggest to replace the currently via Lite Software offered Password Manager KeePassX with the original KeePass2.

Reasons:

  1. KeePass2 is by far more familiar to Windows users. It is even used in professional IT environments.

  2. KeePass2 offers a lot more features than KeePassX and can for example be integrated with Firefox via KeeFox.

  3. KeePass2 can also be easily installed, especially by using the ppa to stay updated.
Thanks for your consideration Smile

Folks, we are getting a lot of people posting Support requests in the wrong section of the Forums. This is creating a lot of unnecessary work for the Moderators and encouraging bad habits. We can no longer be expected to move Topics when they are in the wrong section, unless they are already in a Support section, but under the wrong sub forum. From now on Support requests that are not posted in the correct Support section in the Forums will be locked, eg. if you post a Support request in On Topic or Introductions, the thread will be locked. I know this will be perceived by some as a tough measure, but one cannot expect the Mods to be enthusiastic about their role when this continues.

Correct Forum sections to post in for Support.

Newby question.
If my screen saver or desktop goes into lock screen, I can not get out of it.
It asks for password, I use the same password as login or system update but get invalid/wrong password.
Is there somewhere that has a password I never set ?
How do I change/reset it?

TIA

This isn't really a support question, but more a general question why... Windows appear to only re-sizable via the window header, this is different than it was in LL 2.8 (I could grab a lower corner and stretch a window down, now I can't, I can only grab upper corners). Is there are reason for this change?

Question is in the subject. I'm trying to find a way to set a different wallpaper for my login screen vs my desktop.

UPDATE: I figured it out, Settings -> Setting Manager -> System -> LightDM GTK+ Greeter Settings
