The Linux & Ubuntu website posted a very nice and informative article on LL (in general) and the upcoming 3.4 release.

I'm installing on a MacBook (the erase option, so no OSX to go back to), when I get to detect keyboard, I can only type numbers from the upper part of the keyboard. I need to toggle the NumLock to off. Can I do this mid installation?

What's the name of the software that creates a desktop URL link in LL3.2, when you right click with your mouse?
Over the weekend I got a notice from SETI that I needed to update to the latest Nvidia driver in order to keep processing work units. Dutifully I applied all updates, rebooted, then applied the new driver and rebooted. I had been running 340.101 per the "Drivers" utility. Now I leave at night and when I get back to the computers in the morning my video display will not restore. I can log in and when the session tries to restore itself it hangs not recognizing keyboard and one can only move the mouse, clicks go unrecognized.
This happens on 2 machines, a 6-core AMD and a 4-core I7. Both have the same Geoforce 630 card.
Interestingly, I have a dual core AMD which is currently running Linux Mint with the same video card running the same video driver also running Boinc and subscribed to the same projects. The video on it never locks up. This appears to be specific to Linux-Lite.
I cannot enter a bug report because the bug reporting interface seems broken.
Hello I am under Linux Lite 3.2 I
I cannot install the Molotov de Molotov.tv application, while she worked well under L.Lite 2.8.

I think that the problem comes from the application she even, but I am not sure there.
Think what of it you?
For my Audacity Chasing me around the Workspaces: http://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/other/...e-desktop/ it was suggested that I use devilspie.

I haven't been able to figure out how to install it. According to this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Devilspie I need to have the universe repositories check marked. I have Community-maintained free and open-source software (universe) enabled. Yet I can't sudo apt-get install it, or sudo apt install it.
If you do a google search you might find my post on other linux sites. This has been a very annoying issue with the XFCE desktop. I've been looking for a solution for a long time. Today I decided to crack down and get this out there in case someone has found a solution. I tried the XFCE forums first but back then I didn't have an actual video to show them. I updated my post there and now there is a video too.
When I am opening up a bunch of podcast mp3 files for editing, and I try to go to another workspace to browse the Internet, audacity follows me. Not like it would if I had the desktop set to have it show on all workspaces. Watch the video and you should be able to see what I mean.
I'm running XFCE 4 and Audacity 2.1.2.

can i install vivaldi web browser in Linux Lite 3.2 32bit?
I am running an older version of linux lite, I would like to upgrade to the newer version 3.2 I know that I can backup and restore everything in the Home folder, but is there a way to keep track of and save any of the modifications I have made which may not be in my home folder? Over time I have made quite a few changes/additions to the stock OS. I have Back in Time installed, but I think that would only help with restoring the older distro. Originally I tried to start a list of programs that I installed through the Lite Software Center, but as with many good intentions it has not been kept up to date. Also, there were a lot of things I changed which were not through the GUI, some were through a terminal, some with Wine, as I said I wanted to keep a list but eventually forgot to.
One of the main reasons I want to do this is my Firefox no longer works properly, it opens in a fresh window every time and does not keep any bookmarks or tabs. I tried restoring from backup but it hasn't fixed it. If necessary I might have to start a separate thread about the browser problem, but it occurred to me that one way around it might be to upgrade to a newer Linux Lite and a fresh browser installation.
Take a look. It is a free .pdf download.
