anyone how to remove this problem?

Sometime recently, perhaps after updating using the opening menu, Dropbox stopped syncing. No icon showed up, and "dropbox status" from the terminalindicated it wasn't started. Now would it. I removed, then reinstalled using the Lite Software option. No luck. Then I deleted all the dropbox directories, including the hidden one and reinstalled. No luck. I get as far as running "dropbox start -i" and downloading the daemon, and it appears to download successfully, but then it fails to launch the subsequent request for my account credentials. No error message. Nothing, Any ideas? I have Linux Lite on three other old laptops with no problems. BTW, I obviously appreciate Linux Lite, and it has increased my disrespect for Windows. Thank you for your efforts.
As per instructions on the pop-up window, pasting in the log from an update error which has been ongoing now for many days.

One of my "youth" laptops is missing the enter key "cover" although currently the return/ENTER function STILL works when I simply tap the "space" where the cap should be.
I am however planning for the day when it doesn't work as while the cursor can be used for accepting various things, the return key would still be required for spacing between paragraphs in libre office.
Might someone have a straight forward step-by-step reference on how to re-map a key as a return key?
I'm not entirely new to Linux distros, but LL has me stumped on this one;
The GUI for Pithos is incomplete in that I cannot ADD-DELETE-MODIFY stations. There's no 'hot spot' to click... if you understand me here.
I tried to remove-reinstall Pithos and got the same thing.
In Ubuntu, Raspbian and Mint, it's all there for me to use, but is there an abbreviated version for LL only?
I DO have all the previous stations from the other distros all sync'd and listed, just can't modify them here in LL.
Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?
Is there any reason I need to remove old kernels? I have Linux Lite on half of a 500 GB HDD, so it has plenty of room. I don't have a lot files either, so there is a lot of empty space. Will having several old kernels impair performance? Make it start or run slower?
I'm just afraid I'll screw the removal process up. Twice I have attempted it with Lite Tweaks, but both times I cancelled. I'm confused between the headers and the images, and how many to remove. I have 5 of them on my computer currently. I see it's recommended to remove all but the last two. But the list I am presented with is rather confusing, with all those boxes to check!
Is it true that this list does not contain the current one, so I could technically check all the boxes? Or all but the latest, which would leave me with two?
In Linux Lite once you have pegged a quick launch to the taskbar at some point you may want to move it. Right now you have to right click the taskbar - panel - panel preferences - items - then find the correct launcher & then use up or down to move it left or right. For the new people, a bit difficult. There is a solution. It's the return of a feature that was in Linux Lite series ONE. (How's your memory Jerry?). In Linux Lite 1.0.6 to move a quick launch on the task bar you right click the icon - select 'move' - go to where you want it on the taskbar - (all the other icons move out of the way) and then right click in the spot you want it. Almost exactly the same way it's done in Windows Vista up to 10. A great old feature that would be excellent for a comeback. Hope it can be so as it would be excellent for new users of Linux, and people coming from another operating system.
