I encountered this kind of errors many times.
This is due to various reasons, such as usually, missing appropriate version for the current OS release and sometimes, due to changes made by the developer to the PPA structure.
Since PPA installations often break the update process (lots of post on that topic here!), here are at least two approaches:

1. Launch Terminal (= Ctrl+Alt+T) and type:

Code: [Select]
sudo apt update
You will be asked for the admin password.
Sometimes you still get errors even after issuing this command. Repeat the step.
If the error persists, then deactivate (uncheck) the lines of the PPA in error.
In order to do that, you have to go to the "Software & Updates" window and choose the "Other Software" tab.
Here is a trick to make it easy: Copy the line below and paste it into the terminal:

Code: [Select]
software-properties-gtk --open-tab=1
This will bring up the required window.
You will see the lines that generate errors, exactly as they are listed in the Error Log.
Uncheck the respective lines than accept the Update Sources request.
After updating the sources list, type in the CLI (Terminal)

Code: [Select]
sudo apt upgrade
The update sould work this time.
After updating the available packages, try to reactivate the PPAs you disabled in the previous steps.
They might work this time.
Sometimes this is the required procedure, due some dependencies that are required but unavailable at the time of the update attempt.
I stumbled upon this situation a few times, because I also use PPA software.

Good luck!

Best regards, Șerban

This indicates that repositories you are using have changed or added information concerning their software.
These changes can occur but the update/upgrade process requires indication from the user that these changes are OK.

Try opening a terminal by pressing 'Ctrl' 'Alt' and 'T' together and in the terminal window type or paste in this command

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get --allow-releaseinfo-change update
This allows the update process to accept the changes - you will need to enter your password.
Once this command has been run, please retry the update/upgrade.
