Yes. It can be done with Conky Manger v2   http://teejeetech.in/2014/06/conky-manager-v2-released.html if you want a GUI and want to tweak the location. I showed it on this post. http://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/screenshots/the-penguins-of-linux-lite-3-2/msg27055/#msg27055

  • Kernel: 5.x
Open ~/.conky folder.
Open 'widget' in text editor.


Look for the line: alignment bottom_right


Change it to read: alignment bottom_left, or ...middle_left to suit, and save.
Conky should then restart in the correct position.


I think that should do it.

Is it possible to move the widget to the left side of the desktop? Variety desktop displays pics and quotes, interfers with quotes. Thanks. bb
