who have an old video-card like the "ATI Radeon 9600" that somehow got kicked out of support from the most recent proprietary fglrx drivers.

May want to look at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1352145 could be helpful?? Not sure on a dual setup..
although - "The last proprietary driver that supported your card was released by ati in august 2006."

But if you haven't looked at the manual as rokytnji suggested...
There is a section devoted to ATI and Dual Monitor setups..

.I guess that is not the philosophy of Linux Lite.

That is a pretty harsh statement when a lot of work went into

It would be really nice to have a better "Monitor Setup" so one can use custom resolutions. Dual Screen Setups should get saved to disk, so one does not have to set them every time he/she boots up.
The possibility to even install legacy drivers would also be nice, because i really feel that i am not alone in linux-land with an old computer and an old video card. There may be many more people,
who have an old video-card like the "ATI Radeon 9600" that somehow got kicked out of support from the most recent proprietary fglrx drivers.
And it seems to be a very hackish way to install that legacy driver by hand(by fooling around with dependencies and things a normal human beeing hasnt got a clue about)
...I guess that is not the philosophy of Linux Lite.

Since we dont surf  the web with lynx anymore, the possibilty to set up Monitors correctly and according to the wishes of their owners seems very essential for me to gain a widespread "fanbase" for Linux Lite.
