Hello everybody  :),

I am quite new to linux lite (using linux mint before) and I have a soundproblem with my integrated webcam, don't know if I am in the right place here. I am using guvcview as a software tool. My first attempts to record a video were quite successful, but ever since then, I get an awful noise as a result - as if the camera would now record very directly my computer's fans noise (I hope you get what I mean, I am German...). You can't even listen to the records :-( - sorry, I would not bother you with this if I would not have tried EVERYTHING to solve the problem. Yes, after my two initial records, I did try to improve the sound a little in general on the guvcview board, which may have caused the change?, although I tried to put it back to default afterwards. Does anyone have any idea? - Did I brake my webcam :-(?

Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated
Anais

See this post below. I answered there:
SimpleScreenRecorder. Best screencast recorder ever!
Vokoscreen.
GuvcView, is old and does nothing as it should.

Hey guys! I got a new webcam in yesterday, and when I tried it out I noticed some weird whirring/vibrating sounds on the recording. It sounds like it's coming directly from the webcam itself, and I haven't got a clue how to fix it. I've got the Logitech HD Pro C920 webcam. I basically had to toss the last 3 video's I attempted because the sound was so annoying to me. Nox Vidmate VLC I can try upload a short clip if nobody has any clue what I'm talking about.
