In Linux Lite 2.4, configuring Network Share Settings is greatly simplified. All you will have to do is, Menu > System > Configure Network Shares, enter your password and follow the prompts.

This is a significant milestone for Linux Lite as this marks the end of any terminal based apps in LL.
It's been a long, rewarding road from Linux Lite 1.0 :)

Really impressed and absolutely addicted to the simplicity. No bells and whistles that are not necessary to do the task on hand. Awesome! :)

Off topic: Would you be willing to share you conky config file? I see some results in your display I just seem not be able to produce.
