Configure Network Share Settings - Valtam - 03-03-2015 In Linux Lite 2.4, configuring Network Share Settings is greatly simplified. All you will have to do is, Menu > System > Configure Network Shares, enter your password and follow the prompts. This is a significant milestone for Linux Lite as this marks the end of any terminal based apps in LL. It's been a long, rewarding road from Linux Lite 1.0 ![]() ![]() See this video for a look at how it will work: https://www.linuxliteos.com/video/cnss.mkv Re: Configure Network Share Settings - Monkeyman - 03-03-2015 Outstanding. I guess I didn't realize we were almost ready for 2.4. I'm still on 2.0 and 2.2. Re: Configure Network Share Settings - altman - 03-03-2015 Top job again Jerry . Again , you guys never stop right ! Always improve LL . Re: Configure Network Share Settings - Scott(0) - 03-03-2015 ![]() Re: Configure Network Share Settings - Wirezfree - 03-03-2015 Excellent work... Things like this, and Lite Tweaks et al make LL stand-out. Pity most of the reviews focus on the Eye Candy and the Gazillion things added to bloat it. Great work... Really impressed and absolutely addicted to the simplicity. No bells and whistles that are not necessary to do the task on hand. Awesome! ![]() Off topic: Would you be willing to share you conky config file? I see some results in your display I just seem not be able to produce. Keep up the good work guys! |
