Thank you Jerry. I'm now working on Lite Tweaks hostname so that users can change hostname without a reboot or even a logout while keeping everything running smooth :)

This change will give us another little script under /usr/local/sbin/ ... I've noticed that Linux Lite has xauth leftovers all over... it will take care of that  ;D

Can you mention one single Linux Desktop flavor you know that changes hostname without rebooting or logging out and that also updates Samba config file to keep things running smooth for users? - I can; Linux Lite!  ;D
