Hi, so I did a fresh install and  noticed that sometimes when the request for password comes up, and when I set one, the "Num Lk" button and light comes on. I am not familiar with this little computer and had never encountered that before. So not a problem with Linux (or my memory). Weird. Thank you for trying to help and your feedback. Everything seems fine now. Next step try and install ExpressVPN. Thanks for patience with a newbie.

Glad it's sorted. Please see the Help Manual, Start Here page for Keyboard Function/Numlock suggestions.
