Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Thorin - 03-06-2017 Very new. Hope this is in the right place. Could not find the same problem elsewhere in forum. I have checked many times that I am putting password in correct and even copied and pasted. It says unsuccessful. What am I missing? Thought I would try resetting the password as per manual but I get two letters into my username and it types out a bunch before I can even finish. Password works eslewhere anyway. Completely new to linux. Thank you for any help. Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Valtam - 03-06-2017 To reset password - Menu, Settings, User Manager. Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Thorin - 03-06-2017 Ok, thanks Jerry, I tried that... Still the same. It says change password under new user right? Revox, I downloaded from the link on the Lite sight that took me to Sourceforge. Would this be beta and how would I tell? Excuse my ignorance with any of this. Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Valtam - 03-06-2017 You have installed this to your hard drive right? Sent from my mobile phone using Tapatalk Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Thorin - 03-06-2017 Yes that's right. Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Valtam - 03-06-2017 Can you please screenshot the error. Sent from my mobile phone using Tapatalk Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Thorin - 03-07-2017 It is meant to be the same password as log in right? Says file too large. Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Thorin - 03-07-2017 Tried making it smaller on your Imagemagick. Won't accept: "crop2. You cannot upload that type of file. The only allowed extensions are txt,log,cfg,conf,err,zip,tar.gz,bz2,tar.bz2,tbz2,tgz." Frustrated. Should I just wipe clean and start again? Is there a chance I have a beta version. It thought I saw "Beta" at some point. This is taking days and my internet is not that quick Re: Authentification for Firewall Config won't accept password. - Valtam - 03-07-2017 Looks like you're trying to attach the picture rather than display it.
