| [SOLVED] Keyboard problem - Acer Netbook |

Acer A0751h netbook.
The installation worked but the keyboard mapping is screwed up in a weird way. My password contains a zero and I'm able to log in. Once logged in however, the keyboard mapping is changed so that "0" is now "/" unless the FN key is pressed. I tried a couple alternate keyboard mappings (The Acer Netbook is not listed) without success.
Also, apparently there's no video accelleration for the Intel chipset so that videos don't run smoothly. They run fine on the old XP OS.
Too bad, since the OS seems pretty interesting.

Followed the instructions in Help Manual to change password. Got to the point where you are supposed to enter your user name. Did so but received the message "command not recognized". Please advise.
BTW, I'm now running Linux Lite 2.0.

I have been away from LinuxLite for a while eagerly awaiting this new version 2. I am trying it on two HP laptops and an old Dell 3000 desktop. First impressions:
1. Easy install
2. Feels solid and fast
3. It shows that a lot of time, care and considerations went into this release.
4. The Whisker menu looks great and it is editable!!
5. I have Crunchbang, Lubuntu 14.04 and Linux Lite on my Dell 3000. So far LinuxLite is really impressing me.
6. Love the additional software you can install
I think that's it for now.
I do have an issue with audio recording. Not sure if it is Pulseaudio or something else. I'll keep an eye and ear on it and post to a new thread if need be.
This new forum looks great as well!!

Hey guys, I've been running Linux Lite 2.0 for a few weeks now and it has been great.
Today, I tried to install Banshee and got the following. It is now appearing when trying to install any new packages:
unable to read file triggers file `/var/lib/dpkg/triggers/File': No such device or address
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
Here are the contents of the /usr/bin/dpkg/triggers directory:

Greetings to all from a new fan of Linux Lite who wishes to share his enthusiasm for this OS with you all.
I have two laptops which would probably be considered under powered by comparison to some of the latest models, but they are in excellent condition, and with Linux Lite 2.0 installed they have found a new life. First, I wiped the hard drive clean on the XP laptop, and installed Linux Lite. Results were outstanding. The other laptop has Win 7, and a higher capacity hard drive, so I am dual booting that one with Linux Lite. Actually, I'm not dual booting much any more, I'm working almost entirely with Linux Lite. This has been a most productive venture for me, and I expect that I will continue to feel that way for a long time down the road. Thanks for reading my personal introduction to Linux Lite.
~Richard
