I wondered if there was a way in terminal to check the amount of RAM on a laptop in LL 5.0?
In LL 3.8 I use the line: $ free -m or $ free -h (if I want it in GBs), however this command doesn't work in LL 5.0
Howdy folks and Happy New Year

Hello,
I'm experiencing the same problem on my laptop.
I have a laptop with no OS, installed win10 and dual booting with linuxLite.
Everything works fine but when i suspend my linuxlite session, the screen turns off and the power button flashes at a slow interval which is the expected behavior.
When i move the mouse/press keyboard key to "wake up" the laptop i see the power button staying on "ON" mode but the screen stays off and i can't see anything although i can hear my CPU/fan waking up.
I don't know if it's a GPU problem, i have a Legion-5-15ACH6H laptop with a NVIDIA GA106M [GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q] driver.
On the additional driver tab i have "Using X;Org X server - Nouveau display driver from xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (open source)" activated
Thanks for the help
Dell Latitide. UK keyboard. operating windows 7. Introducing Linux ( LL) to new user.
Tried to install ( Dual Boot) LL 6.2. Source LL6.2 from LL website. Post download checksum confirmed OK.Etcher iso to externalusb stick..
Installed in parallel with existing Window7 OK. London timezone, UK English keyboard, English UK language No encryption. Legacy install. Password Lower and upper case letters - no symbols. Keys used have no addition symbol options.Installation appears to be OK Grub option OK, Log on OK using chosen password.Checked settings post installation for language=English UK (Deleting English US option), Keyboard English UK. Wifi setup OK. - i.e. router password, as typed, accepted.
Checked keyboard output by creating text in Open Office Document. All keys performing as expected.
HOWEVER on trying to use Lite Tweaks, unable to authorise changes using log on password..Ditto on trying to use Package Manager - Authorisation not possible - Password rejected.
Ideas / remedies appreciated to solve this problem. Ideally without having to reinstall - adjust partitions etc.Thank you.
Contrary to Jesse Smith at distrowatch I think Linux Mint (Cinnamon) has changed very little in 2022. So I decided to do my own picks. They apply specifically to 2022.

(ver imagen)
Muchas Gracias.
Everything seems to be functioning just fine.
If you want to try it in a VM (not on your main system!) - https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/12/how-...2-04-22-10
Will find it's way into Series 7x no doubt (maybe 4.19, 4.20 will be available then)
