It is held by process 5907 (apt-get) E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it? You've asked about this a couple of times before https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/updates/upgrade-error-could-not-get-lock/ https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/updates/upgrade-error-9035/ The message is usually triggered when an update process is already active when a second update process is initiated, for example starting a manual check when an automated background check is already running. If it is an automated upgrade just waiting is all that is needed. If you happen to have a package manager open, it will need to be closed before running updates. |
