what would like is to add up hours from on time to end time (should be easy)

I put start time in column B Cell 2 = B2 and end time in column C Cell 2

10:00 B2 15:00 C2 in column D Cell 2 =C2-B2 then hit enter done show me hours from start to end.
once I get the hours I would like a total then up to.

I also clicked in cell format cell to numbers and get error Err:552[table][tr][td][/td][/tr][/table]Thanks

Once Win7 dies on my laptop (or I want to upgrade to a new HDD/SSD), I want to install LL.  How would I get the touchpad to work?

I installed LL2.6 beta on my Chromebook Acer C720.
All is well except a few issues.
I am trying to map the volume up, down, and mute keys to the volume keys on my keyboard.
What commands would I use?

I'd like to install the latest VLC, as it now has a Resume function that remembers your last viewing position. This version is not available in the 2.4 repository, and when I go to videolan and click on the ubuntu download the latest version there seems to target the 13.04 core, whereas LL 2.4 is the 14.04 core. Yet I read people using Linux Mint are enjoying the latest VLC, so I'm not sure what I'm missing.

I'm using LL 24. I now have this annoying keyring login and have to re-enter my wifi info to connect. How do I get rid of this thing?

For the life of me I can't figure out how to login using just the keyboard. It seems I need a mouse to click my user name before I can start typing in my password. Am I missing something? How can I enter my password without using the mouse? If there is no way to do this, I've very much like to see support for this added to the next version of Linux Lite, as I'm much more a keyboard user than I am I mouse user.

I'm using color in my bash shell but can't get the text to drop to the next line below. Could someone tell me what's wrong here?

I bought an HP tc4400 a while back, and there is a fair amount of info about installing Linux on this machine, but the info is pretty old (as is the machine).  It's a cool little unit though and I was thinking about putting Linux Lite on it.


Ubuntu seems to be one of the more "tablet and tablet/pc friendly Distros".  I know LL uses a pretty heavily modified kernel and was wondering if LL retains some of the tablet features of Ubuntu, such as Wacom drivers by default, etc.


Any thoughts or experience with this anyone?

A few time's recently I've created a post, done a preview, and it is all messed up with "mark-up" type stuff, and most of the text missing.
Just occurred with my last post, so I have to copy the text and re-start the post.
