I cannot get wifi going. Installed Linux Lite parallel to Windows which catches the wifis. Tried kernel but only ethernet is showing there, too. Googled for answers but the only answer i've found and haven't tried is wired connection which i cannot do at this time. In despair, i tried to install ubuntu that i like less but same problem there. Hoping somebody can help me get this cool system LinuxLite connected to internet.
Clicking Menu > Logout does not bring up the Logout/Shutdown/Restart menu anymore but causes the screen to go black. How can I fix this? Thank you.
Been toying with the idea of a multi-boot Live USB.. Thought I'd see if any of the good folks on here have done this and which application they used/preferred... I have seen different variations mostly derived/using LinuxSys and grub...
Ultimately I'd like to have 32 and 64 bit versions of LL on a single USB.
I have installed Infinality according to the manual. But the Programm does not work. Message: "... Not load /etc/profile.d/"
Infinality works fine in LinuxMint XFCE 17.2. Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
For this year
Happy holidays and a prosperous new year!
Thank you for making the best desktop distribution I have used (along with Mint), in my week or two I have used it, Lite has become my main distro, so thank you, you sexy beast.
Hi, I'm Ian, but you can call me imitchell (this is going to be like a dating profile thing just so you know). I'm an amateur IT guy and physicist. I switched to Linux Lite on my desktop (with Mint on my laptop and Debian on my server) because I was tired of getting shat on by microshaft, and decided to go from Windows 7 to Linux Lite, it's absolutely fantastic. Linux Lite (and Mint) are a perfect desktop experience, and Linux Lite is perfect for gaming. Along with my IT and scientific needs. Oh, and it's also great for my record obsession.
So, when I try to mount games in GMod, the checkboxes to mount said games aren't there :-\ , anybody have a solution?
Thanks ;D
-Ian
