I've installed JACK 2 and pulse-module-jack. The system works really well, expect for that I want Jack sink(PulseAudio Jack Sink) to be my default sound card instead of my audio interface. Every time linuxlite boots up, the sound card is always my audio interface and I have to manually change it in the speaker icon to Jack sink(PulseAudio Jack Sink). I want it to be Jack sink(PulseAudio Jack Sink) because I can listen youtube on chrome and record it into my DAW Bitwig.  It's just a pain to have to manual change it every time the computer starts up.  I'm on LL6.4. Thanks.

We've been trying for sometime to contact OSDN regarding our (ISO) file hosting for Linux Lite, but to no avail.
Sourceforge have been around a very long time, so we are hosting over there now:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-lite/

We still have our international mirrors available, this just gives people another option to download Linux Lite.

Just a shout out to the Lite team for making this distro not only the best iteration of XFCE I've ever witnessed, but for paying particular attention to the visibility/legibility of the distro.

I'm a 52 year old dude whose eyes aren't what they used to be, so I REALLY appreciate this attention to detail.

I'm back and I'm going to try to stay this time. Long story short. My stuff has shifted again and I'm tired of windows
I got a nice gaming rig that will getting this distro if my family don't try to ask me my opinion on different distros

Hi,

I have just starting using LL on my old Lenovo T400 laptop.
It connects fine to the AP and I'm able to surf and and stream media from smb shares. But when I do more heavier stuff eg FTP transferes the laptop loses the connection to my wifi. The speed goes down to 0 to 6 Mbit. I did find this in the logs.

journalctl -p 3 -xe

Code:

Great job with LL6.6 RC!  But running the French version I noticed the "Lite" name is lost in translation in most of Lite apps. It shouldn't be.  As a matter of branding and clarity, I think you should keep it.  In 6.6 RC1 French, the word "lite" or "light" is translated in three different ways and too generic (was it AI-translated?).  As a regular user, I submit it's confusing.  Pic related is Lite Apps's LL6.6 RC1 French OOTB. My suggestion is to keep the "Lite" brand for every LL exclusive apps no matter what language is used. Lite Software in French would turn into Applications Lite, for example, instead of "logiciels légers", which doesn't make a lot of sense.
