After installing Linux Lite on Lenovo MIIX 320 10ICR, a problem appeared, 5 minutes after playing any file through the built-in speakers or the 3.5 jack of the device, the sound turns into noise, and there is no such problem through Bluetooth headphones or hdmi. How can i get the hardware running correct?

I tried 'systemctl hibernate' on LL, and it fails. This is having a swap partition larger than ram. It kills networking, the screen goes blank, but rather than going to sleep it goes back to desktop.
Any ideas? Thanks
For context:
This is a desktop with win 11, and secure booth enabled. I've read the recommendation is to disable it, but I don't want to break anything as this is my main machine and I need it operational. If installing LL would bork windows, I'd be in trouble.
LL will be installed in an external, USB 3 1TB SSD drive. The whole point of this drive is not to have to touch anything with the existing setup (partitioning, resizing).
I've used linux for years. I know full well how easy it is to bork things. This is why I'm asking first here.
I did a trial on an extra laptop, which had an internal SSD running two linuxes under grub (solus and void). I did the install on the external SSD, and guess what? the machine didn't boot at all when selecting the internal drive. That is LL install process might have affected the internal SSD (is this possible?)
With this experience, I'm very wary to set it loose on my main machine.
Is there any other possibility? Did the installer fail, or was this user error?
I ran it from the external SSD, tested nvidia, external monitors... everything I'll need for the desktop (except it has a more recent nvidia 3090). I'm being careful as you see.
I just booted my PC and it took longer than usual. The menu got reset! Favorites gone. Recent apps empty.
How do I change it back with the categories to the left side and the programs on the right?
Do you know if/how I can run a windows container using Docker on a Linux host? I use Linux Lite 6.6 as my OS, and I'd like to run a scaled down Windows OS (maybe a core or nano version) so that I can test some things that need to run in powershell.

Unfortunately I have no idea what this all means. Do I need this update or can I just ignore it?
Many thanks in advance.
Hi everybody
I'm new using LL.
I have a 500GB SSD and additionally installed a 1TB HDD.
I tried to label the SSD partition and the HDD partition. I can change the name of the partitions but not the label.
I have tried to use the "e2label /dev/sd5 "partition label" and "tune2fs -L NEW_LABLE /dev/sda5 and it didn't work.
While writing this, I found that "sudo" was missing before the command. Now it worked with the e2label command ;D
When I hit "Edit share settings", it doesn't open any files. It just goes straight to the Reload or Restart Services options.
The smb.conf file is there, on /etc/samba/.
Hello ! Trying to install linuxlite on HP4510s probook laptop. Using a live CD the installation runs well but rebooting the error message indicating indicating no disk no boot appears. It seems the bios is "locked" on these laptops. Tried several tips from various linux distributions but nothing worked. Linuxlite operates without a problem from the live cd and even on and usb bootable key but I can't make it run from the hard drive of the laptop. The old windows 7 OS installed on the machine was corrupted so had to eras it... so no OS as I cleaned the disk erasing it before the LL installation. Any solutions/procedures anyone? Thanks for your help....
