I have installed Linux Lite 6.0 to 64gb usb flash drive (full installation). When I did a release upgrade with sudo do-release-upgrade it updated to Lunar Lobster (ubuntu 23.04?) And now when I run the same command again it errors. When I run sudo apt update I got

Code:
sudo apt update [sudo] password for eero: Ign:1 http://archive.canonical.com lunar InRelease                            Err:2 http://archive.canonical.com lunar Release                                404  Not Found [IP: 185.125.188.12 80] Hit:3 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lunar InRelease                        Hit:4 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lunar-security InRelease                Hit:5 http://repo.linuxliteos.com/linuxlite fluorite InRelease Hit:6 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lunar-updates InRelease Hit:7 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lunar-backports InRelease Reading package lists... Done E: The repository 'http://archive.canonical.com lunar Release' does not have a Release file. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default. N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
I have waited a week so it probably isn't a random outage at ubuntu update server. And I don't know how to fix it.

Edit: I have changed the file in /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades from lts to normal

Hello, I have a serious problem, every time I watch a video, play a game, watch something on VLC, etc. When I use any app apparently, a buzzing sound interrupts the audio after a few minutes. I already tried using another Linux distro but this problem remained. I don't know how to solve it, I'm very new to the Linux world

Hello! I've tried to update several times with "sudo apt update", but anytime I have the same error with apt_pkg
Does anyone knows what the problem it could be?

For extra info - I installed some freshly versions of Python, maybe it broke the update system?

Thank you very much!

Hello Everyone,

[size=1em]I haven't been here for a long while, so this is a "hi" to anyone who knew me when I used to drop in regularly.[/size]
[size=1em]Recently, I strongly recommended LL6.6 to two new 'linux migrants' (travelling from MS Windy). [/size]

[size=1em]However, they both have an issue with two contradictory notifications regarding updates, that is "Your system is up to date" on the screen view, versus "8 days since your last update" on the LL-widget - see screenshot showing this at  https://imgur.com/fU8gv4u[/size]

How do I know which notification is correct?
How do I fix this, so that the incorrect notification doesn't pop up again?

In terminal I tried the following, but it didn't help resolve the issue:

Code:
sudo apt --fix-broken install

Many thanks in advance for any help with this  Smile
Best wishes
Mike G.

I accidentally removed the panel from my OS Linux lite 6.6, I think I pressed "remove configuration" or something like that. After that, I restarted the computer and everything went back to normal, except the wifi.
After I turned on the computer, the Internet didn't come back, how do I fix this?
I can't connect to wifi at all and I got no response when using Linux lite 6.6 AI

Hi folks ! Hope 2023 is ending well for each and everyone of you.

Here's my problem : I have dabbled for some years now with the same Bluetooth USB dongle and headset on various computers, fittes with different distros. Never had a problem.

Was using it under LL on my HP-Compaq mini laptop until it conked out last march. Haven't find the time to get the spare parts, nor the time to fix it yet, so I installed LL on a Samsung mini laptop.

Here comes my problem, can get the whole bluetooth contraption to work, and I can't figure out why. I've checked both dongle and headset on different computers, they work fine.  :banghead

Does anyone have any idea to solve my predicament ?

Btw, about my computer :

I got in contact with the very friendly and responsive guy running DistroSea.

Now Linux Lite can be checked out without even creating an USB stick.

Considering the target audience of Linux Lite this might lower the threshold for some to do the first step of converting from Windows to Linux Lite. And for people spreading the word/helping others it's another tool in the toolbox - just sending the link:

Hi I'm hoping to install Linux Lite on my old Chromebook. I'm using Bodhi Linux at the moment. I thought that the 16GB SSD would be big enough as the specs say that it only needs 8GB. It worked OK from the live session on USB but when I tried to install I got a message pop up saying that 15.8GB isn't big enough and that it needs 16.9GB. Any suggestions please.
