Installing Chromium browser

Another one that's bound to be my ignorance:
Sorry in advance, this is another stupid one:
I want to install Chromium - I don't like Chrome (or Firefox) and I currently have Chromium installed on my U16.04 machine and a couple of others and I'd really like to stick with it.
I read a post here: https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/insta...do-i-tick/
This clearly says I should be installing from Lite Software and one of the posts refers to a Search box but on my Lite Software I can't see one...so don't get as far as having the option to click.
Where should I be looking?

Reverse Scrolling is not working despite activating it in touchpad settings

I installed the Linux Lite operating system on my computer just today. I am liking it, however, the scrolling direction in the touchpad is in the opposite direction. I soon found the reverse scrolling option in the touchpad settings, and activated it right after but nothing has changed. I tried rebooting too, no change. Please suggest me a fix to get back my reverse scrolling. I love it. Please someone help me

I put Linux Lite 4.8 on my friends desktop computer and all went well.
He's been using the computer with no errors for four days now. He went to his Photos folder where I had placed several thousand of his photos of all types and the folder is now empty. Not one photo was present. I had him go to the recycle bin and it too was empty.
He says he did not delete any photos but did up load more photos from a thumb drive. They uploaded with no issues.
I had him check to see if somehow the photos file was sent to the thumb-drive,they had not.
Any ideas as to what has happened to his photos or where they went?

Are file comments possible?

Is it possible using Linux to do the equivalent of what you can do on a Mac with file comments? That is, a separate comment about the file that you add to it later but which is separate from it, yet stays attached to it and can be edited. They are really useful for labeling things or making notes about whatever. This question may not make sense to people who haven't used it on a Mac, in which case I suppose it's probably not possible to do with Linux.

hi
please tell me how can install spss or pspp in linux lite os ?
dawood ~ 100 sudo apt-get install pspp
[sudo] password for dawood:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package pspp is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'pspp' has no installation candidate
