You can make sure you have official LL iso by checking the md5 sum from Jerry's release announcements. You should get the same sum from the .iso file by running md5sum <filename(s)> in the same forlder where your LL iso is. For an example
Code: [Select]
md5sum linux-lite-3.8-32bit.isoBut if you downloaded your LL 4.2 from here orhttps://www.linuxliteos.com I believe that it is secure enough to not re-install.

We have never bundled an audio alarm app. That's probably why no one has replied. You must have got that copy of LL from a third party source.

Not exactly a support issue, been using LL about two years but still a relative noob.  So, I think I installed LL 3.8 at first, maybe 3.6...  So, with the bundled software there was an audio alarm app that I used all the time.  It let me select a sound file (I d/l a bunch of different alarms for this), and select a time, standard alarm program, but not an alarm clock.  To clarify, this was a GUI, not a CLI, program that would schedule, play, and loop an audio file.

So, due to messing things up (installed NIC, messed up settings, etc.) I have had to reinstall a few times, now I have LL 4.2, and that program is gone.  Honestly, I'm not sure it was bundled or I found it in repos, but I can't find it again for the life of me.  I have googled, and tried searching through synaptic, with no luck.  I really want to find this program again, any help is truly welcome.

Edit:  Really, I only want to find the name of this program, although a link is welcome, this is all I'm asking for.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?
