Is it possible to roll back an  update?

I never got this issue resolved so any help would be appreciated.
btw Happy Thanksgiving :)

After update get an error message " out of scan range 38.46 KHZ / 36 HZ "
The monitor must not have the correct resolution. The problem is I can't find a way to change the settings because all you can see is  just a black screen with the error message.

Tried a different monitor without success.

Your help is greatly appreciated

I tried this https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/hardware.html#booting

Still having the same problem

Only works with the live CD  :(
