  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4460

  • MEMORY: 16Gb

  • Kernel: 5.x
Open a File Manager Window and ensure it is selected.
Press the 'Ctrl' and 'M' keys together.
This should put the menu bar back on.
Click 'View' and go into 'Side Pane' setting to adjust that.

Edit - corrected 'sidebar to 'side pane'

Hello there,

I'm pretty new to Linuxlite.  A friend installed this to my pc and I have been using it without problems.  I'm not sure what i pressed at some point and how to undo it but my file manager does not display the File/View/edit etc tabs on the top plus there no side panel anymore.  I'm going to setting for the file manager but I'm not managing to return these features on.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
