Hello JonMikeIV,

there is a software called gnucash some members are using. It is in Install/Remove Software (Synaptic).
I have not used it, or TurboTax, myself as I don't do taxes.

Thanks for the suggestion Scott!

I'll keep the web-based version in mind if I can't get the Windows install working with LinuxLite.  Mostly I'm trying to lower the barriers to helping friends & family shift to LL - one of which (at the moment) is "but I can't do my taxes like I used to".  Sigh.

Hi JonMikelV
I've been using the web-based version of TurboTax in Chrome on Linux Lite for a few years now. It's always worked without issue. I make sure all plugins are off before starting.

Has anybody gotten TurboTax 2016 to work in LL 3.2 (preferably 64 bit) and, if so, how'd you do it?

I've tried following various instructions via console, Winetricks, and PlayOnLinux (all for both Wine v1.8 & 2.0) but I keep running into errors getting .NET 4 (required for TT 2016) to install.
