If you created a restore point using Systemback, revert to it.  Use the same command to remove the ubuntu desktop, except use the word remove or the word purge instead of the word install.

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum.  I need help restoring my linux-lite desktop.   I used the following command to fix a problem (which I have no idea what it was).

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop.   Now the system boots and runs, but it has a different splash screen and an Ubuntu login etc...

I am using LL 2.8.   Any help would be appreciated,   Thanks.
