Yes. I think it would help you download/install whatever necessary drivers you need if you're wired in and your wireless usb tplink wn725n is attached.

@angler777,
Try what's seen in this thread:
https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-linux-lite/(solved)pae-is-disabled-on-this-pentium-m/
Looks like all you have to do is press the tab button at the Welcome to Linux Lite 2.4 boot menu screen to edit options. And then you type in forcepae with no spaces after the two dashes (--).
The boot menu screen I'm talking about is the one that looks like this:
So when you press tab, a line will appear that will look something like this:
> /casper/vmlinuz file=/cdrom/preseed/custom.seed boot=casper initrd=/casper/initrd.gz quiet splash --
And when you add forcepae to the end of it, it should look like this:
> /casper/vmlinuz file=/cdrom/preseed/custom.seed boot=casper initrd=/casper/initrd.gz quiet splash --
forcepae
Then hit
Enter
on your keyboard to proceed.

Make sure the cd drive lens is clean. I keep a

The only other tips I can think of is to set the burn speed to the slowest possible speed and don't use the computer while it's burning the CD, that includes disabling screensavers and powersave settings too.

Knows JUST ENOUGH Linux to be DANGEROUS
CPU: Several Different 32-bit & 64-bit CPUs, 2-8 GB RAM
MEMORY: 8Gb
VIDEO CARD: Several Different AMD and Intel GPUs
Hello!
You're welcome. Download the MD5Summer.zip file from here:
http://www.md5summer.org/md5v12011.zip
.
The easiest way I know of to proceed is to extract the .zip file, download the attachment(s) I posted here, delete the '.txt' off the end of the filename(s), put MD5summer and the hash(es) into the same directory as the ISO(s), and then run md5summer. If all is well, it should check your ISO, and the yellow indicator will turn green if the hash verifies OK.
If anyone else can offer a better solution for this (outside of Linux), feel free to comment. Again, just holler for help if you need more...

Please explain what i am supposed to do with these numbers.I am a novice.I booted up to my homemade cd and typed in the numbers after the cursor on the blank page.No go.I would buy your cd but dealing with the Philippine post office and customs stresses me out. This is going into a dell 2250,replacing the entire o.s.Thanks,Bob

Hello!
Welcome to the Linux Lite forums.
Since you're using CDBurnerXP, I would guess you're using Windows. If you aren't using something else to check MD5 hashes, search for and get md5summer to check your hashes with.
The hashes are on the same page as the downloads, but I've attached them here, so you can understand their format. You may need to remove the '.txt' extension; I had to add it to upload them.
Just let us know if you have any questions. Hope you get a good download this time!
