UIAM, isn't creating encrypted volumes a 'known issue' with Ubiquity, the installer program? I recall coming across that item SOMEWHERE around here...

I got this error when I was encrypting the hard drive.
autopartition using lvm failed an error occurred while creating the volume

but it works fine without doing the encryption any ideas what wrong
