Linux Lite Lover

VIDEO CARD: Intel HD Graphics 5500
Kernel: 5.x
After my successful migration to LL 4.0, I started converting a friend. It turned out he needs extra keyboard layouts besides the default "us" one. What would be the recommended (without breaking anything) way to achieve this?
