Ok, I got it working
I tried this, but it always changes the dir from feather back to xfcewhen I close desktop settings. How did you get the dir to stay feather instead of going back to xfce ?
Testing Linux Lite for a non-profit homeless shelter. This distro fits the bill nicely, stable, fast, user friendly. Well done to everyone involved. Also, just for fun, I made a new dir under /usr/share/backgrounds/ named "feather". Copied into it the three feather backgrounds, Linux-Lite-Red.png, Linux-Lite-Green.png, and Linux-Lite-Slopes.png (not called yellow???). Set background to this new dir, Change the background - 5 seconds, random. All that appears to change is the color of the feather. Thanks again,8bit
