Hi Valtam,
From my perspective, and what I have done in the past few months:
Out Of The Box, Standard:Catfish, I think most people will want to find files at some point, and it's lite & simple
DejaDup, Backup program, I myself am using DejaDup, but currently testing a bunch of other inc Lucky backup, BackInTime & Timeshift, last 2 are almost like Restore Points in Windows.
Something to consider.?
inxi, very helpful from the get go if people need help/assistance,
people on the forum can just say.. press ctrl-alt-t and then type "inxi ??" and copy the results back
For consideration to add in to
"Install Additional Software" List:APTIK ~ Allows you to easily save all you main configurations & settings
Gigolo ~ Easy to use tool for automatically connecting to PC/NAS Shares, avoid having to edit/change system files.
FreeFileSync, Allows you to keep files synchronised across dirs, I have used this for a long time on Windows, now on Linux
