Everything you said, Rob, is true. I have just read about people having problems with NVIDIA drivers and other problems. I am hoping to get a list started of new computers that someone buys or sees on a website that would be a good computer for installing Linux Lite.

Although Linux Lite itself is free, I'm sure an OEM would have to 'work something out' with Jerry and the other developers to feature LL on their machines.

With that said, were an OEM were to approach them about such a thing, I would imagine the development team would give an OEM offer offer every consideration. The problem is, OEM Linux machines don't command much consumer market share.

Since Linux Lite works on a wide variety of hardware, your next 'old machine' should have no problems getting it up and running. If you DO, you know where to turn for help...

I am not in the market for another computer now thanks to Linux Lite. When I am I would want another desktop either new or refurbished that had Linux Lite pre-installed or good for installing Linux Lite.

If desktops with Linux Lite pre-installed were available for purchase too that would be great. If not, perhaps a list of computers (with links) that would work well with an install of Linux Lite could be maintained for shoppers?
