Updates dpkg --configure -a

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
How dp you run it, .
what ever this is its stopping updates etc..

it asks you to open your terminal, and type in to it this -

Press the enter key and follow the instructions or prompts it gives.

that appears to have fixed issue.  only about 5 hours trying to find the info.  thanks again
