Is it there a specific reason that we ship Create System Report in Linux Lite when hardinfo application comes builtin and it is also capable of creating nice HTML reports?

I'm working on Create System Report and I will make it report everything in a better looking HTML file instead of using a plain text file, but it bothers my mind to see me working so much in duplicating an already existing feature. How many users does it benefit? Is it worth it?

System Information give people quick access to a point and click look at their system, and that's something Linux Lite needs.
Create System Report does print out system information for the user just as System Information does. The main difference is that we control the code and can add and remove features at our whim eg. include more detailed information on certain hardware. Look at the difference between Disks Report in System Information and Disks Report in Create System Report.

I have moved this application to pkexec also so at this point all lite-software apps are done with gksu :)

I believe you meat to say: "Untick options you do not want to include" or "Untick options from the list you do not want to include" cos' Untick any list option you do not want to include doesn't sound grammatically correct I think  ;D
