Kodi not working well
#1

Hello, I love Linux Lite a lot, but unfortunately Kodi is not working well for me on this OS. It is working flawlessly on Debian Jessie on the same computer. I tried version 15.2 of Kodi from the lite software, the 17 and 16.1, but all have the same issue with some addons, mainly Sports Devil and Pro Sports. Error messages using these addons or kodi crashing. It's a deal breaker for me if there's no solution, I'll have to go back to Debian Jessie. Can someone help me?

I tested today the same addons in Kodi, being using this time Kali Linux, same computer. No errors or crashes.
I remember last week I was testing ElementaryOS Loki, and I had the same errors as in Linux Lite. So perhaps it has something to do with the Ubuntu Distros in relation to my hardware. Could it have something to do with D-Bus? I've seen that in the error log.

The computer is an aspire revo r3610, with 4gb ram 1.6 GHz cpu. I'm only using it to stream sports and tv shows to my HDTV. It's a bit slow for Wondows 10 but it works great with most of the lite editions of Linux I've tried. Linux Lite was my favorite so far.

Linux Lite will not support illegal tv streaming addons for Kodi. May I suggest you contact the authors of the addons specifically. I am sure they will be able to advise you accurately.
