Linux install dual boot LL 2.4/Win 7
#1
Did an install today dual boot. Its a generic desktop, I believe its an AMD dual core, 3gb ram and 500gb HD. Everything installed very smoothly, no glitches at all. After a few reboots/shut-downs now it wants to hang on restart into Linux. It will be blackscreen and you see the cursor and it does nothing. It doesn’t do it every time but it does it enough its an issue. You see the feather and do the log in and then it hangs. Any suggestions welcomed.

Press F4 during boot up to see where it's hanging.

F4 had no effect. That screen that opens you know where you pick LL or Windows if you pick LL and hit enter it will usually boot into LL. If you dont hit enter thats when it hangs. I hope I'm making sense lol. I'm thinking maybe to do a reinstall might fix it. Thanks.

Deleted LL and did a reinstall. Seems like its better now, doesn't seem to hang on the automatic log in so far. Will keep posted if that changes.
