[SOLVED] Can't update

i have been updating 2 lite 2.0 machines every 2 week.. today one machine downloaded 27 updates but the up date window said 0 installed and closed. the machine has not run in 2 weeks when it was last updated, then was shut down. no surfing etc. just update and shut.
any clues ?? thanks, t

I've noticed recently the update script (the terminal one) does not update even if it finds things to update. I've run Synaptic and all update are found & can be installed. Lite 2.2 32bit.........Maybe there is a lock file or semaphore that needs to be deleted?

Your system is up to date, nothing to worry about. Sometimes there will be updates, sometimes there won't.

If you really, really, really want the latest everything, install LL 2.2.  But if you are lazy like me and everything works, then just think about it.
