[SOLVED] Little icons problem with LL 7.6

Hi everyone, I'm having a little problem with Linux Lite 7.6. The Adwaita icons and others in the Control Panel have annoying missing parts. The only ones that work are Papirus and ePapirus. Comparing 6.6 (image 1) which has no problems, 7.6 (image 2) is incomplete. Even worse are the Humanity icons in 7.6 (image 3). I tried copying the corresponding icons in /usr/share/icons from 6.6 to 7.6 without success. The .svg files aren't detected, obviously I'm not capable. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try this (assuming you have selected the Adwaita icon set)
Close Control Panel if open
Open a terminal by pressing 'Ctrl' 'Alt' and 'T' together
Enter these commands along with your password if asked.

sudo mkdir /usr/share/icons/Adwaita/48x48/

sudo cp /usr/share/icons/Papirus/48x48/apps/lite*.png /usr/share/icons/Adwaita/48x48/apps

Open Control Panel - see if the 'lite' branded apps now have icons.

First of all, thank you. Yes, I use the Adwaita icon set. Sorry for the delay, but I had the flu. I followed your suggestion and it worked, thank you so much! Only the Orca player doesn't have an icon, but that doesn't matter. So, I'd like to know: did I basically copy the Papirus 48x48 icons into Adwaita? Could I do the same for the Humanity icon set?

Yes - you reproduced the directory structure with the 'mkdir' commands and then copied the icons.

To get the orca icon in Control Panel working with the Adwaita icon set

Could I do the same for the Humanity icon set?

Yes, I think it would work, I haven't tried it though. It is a hack, I'm sure there are better solutions.
