No Sub/Bass

Hy!

I've a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion card sound is good but I don't get any sound from my sub.
Why is that?
In alsamixer from terminal I've checked the chenel is mounted (center/lfe).

pls help

The first link don't worked for me.
The 2nd one wrote about  /etc/asound.conf but I didn't find that file (neighter as I opened /etc folder as administrator)

The interesting thing is that I opened the terminal and  run this: speaker-test -c 6 every channel play sound even the sub too.

So if the sub is playing sound through the test, then it suggests the application you are using is not using the sub.

Every and each apps? I do not think so.
I`ve installed the pulseaudio eq. and there is a miracle happened, the sub is worked.

Thx! But just a little bit frustrated every time I want 5.1 sound with bass I have to open the pulseaudio eq and click on apply, or set the creative x-fi device as default instead of LADSPA.

If you have onboard sound, just disable it in the Bios.
