How to remove unused network drivers?
#1
Actually, i recently solved Wifi not working issue due to missing drivers.

https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/netwo.../#msg53751

Here's the thread (i made this new thread as that was a different issue).
As you can see, i installed many drivers from different user's git repository.

I don't know which drivers is currently being used with my network card. I don't want to mix up my system files with unused drivers.
So i only want to keep the current working driver and remove others safely. How can i do this?

I'm using this device: https://www.enter-world.com/product/usb-...ps-e-w170/
Currently using Linux Lite 3.8 (32-bit, Ubuntu 18.04-bionic)

If your pc is successfully using a driver without any issues, there's actually no need for you to worry. Any additional drivers will either be incompatible and therefore will not load anyway. We're talking about a few kb of extra space here at the end of the day. Best to leave well enough alone.

OK. thanks for your reply.
Anyways, is there any way to check which driver is being used currently. So, that next time i install Linux lite (in case something wrong happens and I've no choice but to reinstall Linux), I'll exactly know which driver should I install.
