" the many problems I have encountered with Lite" by frustrated

If you're having a problem with Linux Lite I can't even begin to imagine the problems you have with your Windows system, which I might add you are probably blissfully  completely unaware of. Just because something works for you (especially Windows OS) absolutely does not mean it's working right. It actually can't really ever work right because even the newest software MS builds is simply a multiplicity (20 years worth) of patches. They have to stay proprietary to keep from being sued, jailed, and/or forced out of business by the US government or other giant corporate entities. I try not to take sides in most cases because I am a businessman (not a geek) and pragmatic not idealistic, but reading and learning never hurt anyone. Pushing a button that will set in motion a series of processes you have no understanding of is usually a bad idea, but I promise you sincerely, your chances of personal, business, and time wasting disasters are far greater with MS Windows than with Linux Lite, and that is a real world truth.

dear frustrated, every distro is different and you can or can't take one app you like and add it to another distro. I found out the hard way and understood you can't have everything on one distro, yet. Why this forum or any other puts up with ego maniacs like you, just amazes me. Go grow up, son...
changed from Windows 10 to a REAL OS

Let's not resort to personal attacks here, anyone. There is already enough clear information here for the OP to make a decision off. When they go low, we go high.
