- I have checked the new 3.4 ISOs... they both have the correct sources by default:

- Fresh installed without installing update during setup. Manually ran updates as soon as the OS booted up.

- Checked /etc/apt/sources.list.d/linuxlite.list afterwards and it was also good.

Case in point, whatever may have caused the issue in the past it is not coming from our default installer or lite-software.

To summarize it... as we both concluded, the issue is not coming from our current code. So, I'm inclined to ignore it just for now until we hear from someone that can provide us with logs for further troubleshooting.

lite-updatesnotify was switched to pkexc 10 days ago and it hasn't been released yet. I'm guessing it got overlooked because I never mentioned it in this thread.
