Can I commit updates to lite-upgrade now that 3.4 has been finally released?

I don't know what you mean. Last we discussed I was not to touch it because we were in the 3.4 path. So, I haven't touched it ever since and I want to know if it is ok with you for me to commit to that repo again.

Yeh it is ok, I just want to know what you have planned for it, that's all.

* Update dialogs
* adjust executions
* update the gksudo command cos' it passes the $USER variable which is interpreted as root instead of the intended logged in USER. Meaning that anything executed in the system script is updating root files when it should update the logged in $USER files instead.
* add additional checks to ensure /etc/llver is properly set when an upgrade succeeds. Do not set llver if the upgrade doesn't succeeds so that users can run the upgrade again if needed - prevent us from sending out patches. (I have some ideas to verify few things but I have to lay them down in code).
* adjust it so that we can at some point move it to pkexec.

I like this Ralphy, especially for creating logs.

FYI - I just added the changelog template to the Lite Upgrade GH repo (and all other active LL apps).
