I would like to get our applications away from gksu so that we can make them multi-session usable. There was a post in the forum not long ago asking this same thing:

I know it is more work but I would like to use pkexec for multi-users and also for security reasons. Everyone is moving away from gksu and it hasn't been maintained for a while. With pkexec we not only bring more security to the execution but we also make it uniform across the GUI plus we allow administrators to authenticate from non admin accounts. There is absolutely no additional requirement or package to install so we could roll this out yesterday... the update will add the policy during installation. ( I have to create the policy for each of our applications of course and update the code accordingly).

I have already done the work for "Install Updates"... below is an example of wha it will be like:

I'm not working on that for the distro... I now you took it away and you had your reasons for it. I made it fully 3.x compatible and I will release it on my site at some point... just to piss somebody else off :)

And he's kind of winning when you think about it. His actions have got you working on his application when you could be working on stuff for the good people in our community :) He's stealing your productivity. I just want peace man. I've had enough conflict in my life, now, I focus only on doing good.

Great! Can we then agree on not releasing more updates until both LICENSE and pkexec has been included? I mean, I want to start delivering updates including both as we go so that we keep the work as organized as possible. It helps me stay focused that's why I ask...

I'm in full gear with the first application off of gksu... "Install Updates"... it's gonna take me a while since I do wanna test locally before pushing it up to master, meaning I have to package it, etc.
